Dr. Stephen Gee is a renowned LASIK eye surgeon who has served Honolulu, Hawaii for over two decades. Dr. Gee is originally from the Corn State of Iowa where he grew up and obtained his undergraduate and medical degrees from Iowa State University. He then completed his residency at the Medical College of Wisconsin where he was chief resident, and then completed a cornea and external disease fellowship at the King Khaled Eye Specialist Hospital in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. He is board certified and a diplomat of the American Board of Ophthalmology.

He has been in private practice in Honolulu, since 1993. Dr. Gee is a comprehensive refractive surgeon and performs LASIK and LASEK-PRK,  astigmatic keratotomy, as well as corneal transplants and topical cataract surgery. Currently, he has performed over 12,000 refractive procedures at Pan Pacific, mostly LASIK using both the NIDEK and VISX excimer lasers.

As the Medical Director of the Pan Pacific Laser Vision Center he is committed to quality outcomes and oversees the community surgeons who also perform refractive procedures at the center. He is an active member in the International Society of Refractive Surgeons, and the Hawaii Ophthalmological Society. He has published articles in peer-review journals and has been a speaker at the American Academy of Ophthalmology and other national meetings.
